Alberta Spruce

The Alberta Spruce (Picea glauca 'Conica') is a member of the "Picea" family.  They are very hardy in their proper environment, but do not do well indoors.  They are a naturally cone shaped conifer with soft dense dark green needles. They prefer full sun but can tolerate some shade.  They take well to trimming & wiring.  With proper training, they can adopt the appearance of a 100 foot tall spruce in a very short time.
