Bonsai

You will receive the bonsai in the photo, not a "look-alike" of our choosing. A care sheet with detailed day to day care for the bonsai you select will be included with your order. Some bonsai must have warm winters, some must have cold winters.  See "Winter Requirements" below for more information.

In August 2022 I began to use 6 different semi-precious rocks & crystals on all new bonsai.  I use them to add beauty to my bonsai, but I became aware that many people believe that they influence our moods & feelings.  The name of the stone is included on the page where present for anyone who wants to Google its "properties".

WINTER REQUIREMENTS Climate categories can be confusing.  In an attempt to simplify them, we have listed bonsai that require a warm climate year-round as "Sub-Tropical" They can be kept indoors year-round, or kept outdoors when the temperature is in the mid 50's or above.  Some bonsai require cold winters to survive.  We have listed this group as "Temperate"  If you live in an area that is warm year-round do not order from this group.

If you are not sure which group will do best in your area, call 917-325-3954 7 days a week between 10:30 and 5:00 Eastern Time.  We will be happy to discuss which species of bonsai will do best in your area.

Please Note: Many species we offer make fruit and/or flowers. Flowers last a few days, fruit usually lasts 10 to 20 days. The photo you see is a "snapshot in time." It represents the bonsai at the time the photo was taken. Some have less fruit or flowers when delivered,  some have more. Many customers comment that the bonsai looks better than its photo when they get it.

As advertised, we send you "The Bonsai in The Photo" you ordered, but being a living thing, it will mature after the photo is taken.
