Description

This Japanese White Pine was sold by me to its current owner in the early to middle 1990's. He is moving to southern Florida, a climate where it will not survive, so he has asked us to find an owner who will care for it. It is 38" tall, 36" wide, and 25" deep. The trunk is 6" at the soil and 4" above the surface roots. It is in an 18" unglazed Professional Grade stoneware pot. While it weighs only 38 pounds, because of its size it will require a box with a dimensional weight of 272 pounds (30" X 30" X 42") The cost of packing and shipping it by FedEx Home Delivery (the lease expensive method) will be from $350.00 to $400.00 depending on the destination, and because of poor handling by all the delivery services during the Covid 19 Pandemic, we cannot guarantee its safe delivery. We will insure the package for $3,000.00, but if there is damage the recipient will have to pursue the claim with FedEx, so if you are nearby we strongly advise Pick-Up as your best option.

Keep in mind that a White Pine will not survive indoors or in a warm climate. It must be kept outdoors and have cold winters.
