The Mulberry is a deciduous tree that can grow to 80 feet in nature. They are fast growers which means a hobbyist can turn one into an interesting bonsai in a relatively short time. More information below the photos.
Their fruit ripens at 3/4" to 1-1/4". They resemble blackberries or raspberries although they are not related. They respond well to trimming and wiring making them a bonsai subject that will reward their owner for years to come.
