Powder Puff (Calliandra)

Calliandra is a very large family of trees that can grow to 20 feet in nature. The received their common name is because they make bright red flowers which resemble powder puffs. They take well to trimming & wiring and can be turned into a very attractive bonsai in a short time making them a great addition to any bonsai collection.
